Technical Support Engineer (MAC-10-00015)
Responsibilities:
Assists sales and marketing with technical review of NEMA frame and above NEMA frame industrial motor specifications.
Provides timely and complete quotations to customers. Supports marketing with data collection for market analysis based on
quotes.
Reviews of consulting engineer’s technical specification and matching of the specification requirements to our product
offering;
Provides timely and complete quotations to our customer including detailed exceptions and/or clarifications to the
specification;
Offers alternative solutions where needed;
Works with marketing to set market prices as needed;
Adheres to policy for compiling and/or supplying information to the marketing department (i.e. complete market information
level/estimated costs for titans);
Adheres to support workflow requirements to achieve Service Level Agreements;
Identifies personal training requirements to immediate supervisor;
Basic metrics analysis;
Actively interact through emails with division to resolve issues/doubts;
Compiles monthly numbers on Quote logs, Hit-rate, Error and Defect, RFQ monitor with respect to TL’s due date;
Identifies personal training requirements to immediate supervisor;
Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical)
or equivalent.
At least one to two years experience with any of the following: Academe (Professor of Engineering Subjects), sales
engineering, construction, motor controls, motor re-building, business process outsourcing or equivalent work experience.
Two to three years working experience as CDM Technical Support Associate.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Proficient with report writing, business correspondence manuals.
Familiarity with electrical motor application preferred.
Must possess analytical skills in relation to determining best service that can be provided to customers regarding technical
and/or applications engineering inquiries.
Must be able to develop improvement strategies around his/her overall responsibilities.
Ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a predetermined time frame.
