The XUL Developer must have:
•XUL – 2 Years. He must have experience developing desktop-based XUL applications. Having developed firefox extensions would be a big plus.
•Javascript – 1-2 Years. This is very much required. Advanced skills required.
•XML – 1-2 Years. The developer must have a good understanding of XML and what it is used for. Intermediate – Advanced skills required.
•DHTML – Softskill but is a big plus.
•CSS – 1-2 Years. Intermediate skills would be adequate.
•LAMP Platform experience. – Basic, but is required.
•Developing desktop applications with other languages like .NET VB or C# is a plus.
Required skill set.
1) DOM, javascript, XML, CSS, PHP, MySQL
2) Knowledge on SOAP,
DTD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resource_Description_Framework
RDF – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Document_Type_Definition
is a plus
